Kate Casciato
Kate Casciato is a junior at The Dalton School in New York City. She is the teen ambassador for the National Drowning Prevention Alliance and the founder of Own Your Float, a student-led water safety initiative that brings water safety education directly into preschool and elementary classrooms. On weekends, she volunteers as a swim instructor for low-income children. She has been a competitive swimmer since age 6.
